Without a clear source on your own website, AI assistants have to guess. They fall back on third-party listings and outdated pages. So we add two small components to your site: an llms.txt file (your hotel's summary for AI) and our AI Connector, which automatically adds Schema.org data to every page. Your webmaster pastes one line of code and one redirect, and that's all. This is called GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).

The AI Connector knows which page the visitor is reading: it serves your room details on the room pages, your FAQ on the FAQ page, your tour information on the tour pages — and switches the description and FAQ into the visitor's language automatically, across all 14 supported European languages.

Underneath sits a structured data layer: your description, rooms, amenities, policies and FAQ — curated by our team before launch, sourced primarily from your own website and enriched with verified data from licensed partners (Google Places, the TripAdvisor Content API) and major booking platforms. AI platforms read this as the source of truth and describe your hotel accurately, instead of an OTA summary.

Frequently asked questions

What results can I realistically expect?
No one can promise rankings inside AI assistants. AI models are not a search index you can rank in, and anyone guaranteeing ChatGPT visibility is selling you something we wouldn't buy ourselves. What we do deliver is the technical work: every signal AI models look for is implemented on your site, refreshed monthly, and measured. Most hotels move from invisible or dominated by third-party sites to being cited from their own website within two to three months.
How is this different from regular SEO?
Traditional SEO targets Google's ranking signals. GEO targets AI models like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Mistral, which read structured data files and synthesize answers differently from a search index. The good news: the same structured data, schema markup and clean factual content that GEO needs also strengthens your Google SEO. Google's own rich-results system uses the same JSON-LD format we generate, so improvements made for AI visibility directly boost your search-engine rich-result eligibility. GEO and SEO reinforce each other rather than competing.
Will the AI Connector script slow down my website or hurt my Google SEO?
No. The AI Connector script is lightweight (under 10kb), loads asynchronously, and adds no measurable page-load time. It's invisible to human visitors. For Google SEO it's neutral-to-positive: the JSON-LD schema we generate is the same structured-data format Google itself recommends, so it can actually help your Google rich-result eligibility. This product is additive to your SEO setup, not a replacement.
Which AI platforms do you track for visibility?
ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Mistral. Every month we ask each of them to describe your hotel and log the exact answer plus every URL they cited. Your monthly report shows the platform-by-platform breakdown, so if (for example) five out of six lean on the same third-party booking-site listing instead of your own site, you see it immediately and we know what to strengthen.
What is the monthly GEO Dashboard?
The GEO Dashboard is the monthly report that lands in your portal and inbox. Your total score is the average of two pillars: a GEO score that measures how well AI reads your site technically (schema.org, the AI Connector, llms.txt) and a Content score across four axes (tone of voice, text depth, question coverage and authority signals like badges and certifications). Alongside the total you see how many sources ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok and Mistral cite — tracked as a separate metric since citation counts scale with hotel size. Plus a competitor leaderboard, TripAdvisor insights, and a concrete to-do list for the next month.
What is the monthly Content Score?
A 0-100 score that measures how AI-readable your website copy is, scored on four axes AI assistants weigh most: tone of voice (concrete facts beat marketing language), text depth, question coverage (do you answer what guests actually ask), and authority signals (badges, certifications and awards you display on your pages). Together with your GEO score it forms your total score, paired with a concrete editorial to-do list — not just a number.
Why do I need monthly updates?
AI platforms re-crawl content constantly, and your seasons, rates, rooms, policies and reviews change throughout the year. Each month we re-scan your site, re-probe the six AI assistants, regenerate every file in the AI data layer, and update your Content Score. A one-time setup decays within months — the monthly refresh is what keeps your hotel the authoritative source over time. You don't have to do anything for it to run.
What do I have to do each month to keep this running?
Nothing. The monthly refresh is fully automated: we re-scan your site, re-probe the AI assistants, regenerate every file, and email you the report. The only time you take action is if you read the Content Score and decide to improve a few paragraphs on your website — and the report tells you exactly which ones. If you do nothing, the system still runs and your AI data layer stays current.
Will this work with my website / CMS?
Yes. We work with any website — Duda, WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, custom builds. As long as we can add a script to the head and configure a URL redirect, we can implement your AI layer.
Do I need to give you my website login or CMS credentials?
No. We never ask for CMS logins, hosting passwords or admin access. After signup we send you two small things to install: one script tag in your site's <head>, and one URL redirect for /llms.txt. Your web agency or in-house developer can paste both in five minutes — we provide step-by-step instructions for every major platform (Duda, WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, custom). If you'd rather we coordinate directly with your developer, we can do that too.
What languages does this work in?
The portal, the Content Writer and your monthly reports are available in fourteen European languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Greek, Turkish, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish. The AI data layer works in two layers: the canonical files (llms.txt, JSON-LD schemas) are in English so AI models read them most consistently across providers, and the AI Connector automatically switches the description, room details and FAQ into the visitor's language on every localised page of your site. When a Spanish guest visits your Spanish page, the schema they see is already in Spanish. If you want fully native-language pages on your own website, the Content Writer is the tool you use to draft them.
Where is my data stored and is this GDPR-compliant?
All data is hosted in the EU and the service is fully GDPR-compliant. We only process publicly available information from your website plus the operational data you enter in the portal — no guest data, no booking data, no PMS integration. If you cancel, your data is deleted from our systems within 30 days. A Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — on the monthly plan: no contracts, no cancellation fees, cancel any time from your customer portal. The 6-month and 12-month prepaid plans are non-refundable, but they auto-renew — you can cancel before the next renewal date to stop the auto-renew. When a subscription ends we remove the AI Connector script and your hosted llms.txt: we can't keep operating the technical layer outside an active subscription. Your hotel reverts to its pre-subscription state, and you can resubscribe later — we'll redeploy everything within 48 hours.

Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

hotelmarketer.ai — a service of Guest & Co B.V., Prinsengracht 759, 1017 JZ Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

For legal clarity the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are published in English only. Translations are not legally binding; the English version below prevails in case of dispute.

1. The service

hotelmarketer.ai (the "Service") is a monthly subscription that makes hotel data correctly visible to AI search engines (ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, Mistral and similar). We implement and maintain a llms.txt file, a one-line AI Connector script, and Schema.org JSON-LD markup for each subscribed hotel. Content is refreshed monthly.

2. Subscription and billing

The Service is billed via Stripe Checkout at €69 per hotel per month (monthly plan), €384 per hotel for 6 months prepaid, or €708 per hotel for 12 months prepaid. Pricing is exclusive of VAT where applicable. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time from your customer portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period and is not refunded pro rata. Prepaid 6- and 12-month plans are non-refundable but renew automatically and can be cancelled before the next renewal. When a subscription ends — by cancellation or non-renewal — we remove the AI Connector script and your hosted llms.txt: we cannot continue to operate the technical layer outside an active subscription. Resubscribing later is possible at any time; we redeploy everything within 48 hours. Prices are adjusted annually on 1 January in line with the Dutch CBS Consumer Price Index (CPI) and any other applicable cost increases, capped at a maximum of 7%.

3. Your obligations

You confirm that you have the authority to act on behalf of the hotel(s) added to your account. You agree to install the technical components (AI Connector script and /llms.txt redirect) on the hotel website within a reasonable time, and to keep your hotel website's published content accurate.

4. What we do not promise

We do not guarantee specific rankings, visibility or appearances inside any AI assistant. AI assistants make independent decisions about what they show. We do not show live prices or availability inside AI assistants; that requires a separate booking-engine connection that the AI agent must fetch on its own.

5. Data we process

To deliver the Service we process: your account name and email, billing details handled by Stripe, the public content of your hotel website, licensed data from Google Places API and the TripAdvisor Content API, and — where detected — public listings on Booking.com, Expedia and similar online travel agencies. Email delivery is handled by Resend (resend.com). We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand site usage; consent is requested through the cookie banner.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@hotelmarketer.ai. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

8. Liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.

9. Right to refuse or terminate service

hotelmarketer.ai reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline a new sign-up or to discontinue an active subscription whenever continuing to operate the Service is not appropriate. Reasons may include — without limitation — misrepresentation, illegal or fraudulent activity, content that conflicts with our editorial standards, or any conduct that materially harms the Service or other customers. When we end an active subscription on these grounds, any prepaid subscription fees covering the period after termination are refunded to the hotel; no further compensation is owed.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

11. Changes

We may update these terms and our privacy policy from time to time. Material changes are announced through your customer portal at least 14 days before they take effect.
